INTRODUCTION

The picturesque Wilgekrans PrivateGame Reserve is situated in the North West province in Groot Marico, a bushveld paradise.

The 7500 acre scenic beauty is known for its diversity in bushveld and game, with four echo habitats. These habitats include Savanna grassland and natural forest areas in mountain gorges where natural springs, streams and rivers feed the groot Marico water system. Each of these areas offer a unique habitat, which is ideally suited to the specific plains game speciesand hold it's own special challenges for the plains game hunter.

The unique diversity ensures the variety of over twenty free roaming plains game species that we can offer, as well as leopard and brown hyena. The free roaming buffalo herds and over 350 bird species will be a highlight of your stay at Wilgekrans.

Even more unique to Wilgekrans is the established, sustainable breeding program, that infuses the various genetic pools with quality bloodlines. This ensures that top quality trophies are consistently available to our clients.

It will be our priority to ensure you have the 'ultimate bush experience'. We will tailor-make your safari to suit your needs and budget.

The hunting techniques can vary based upon the preference of the hunter. It can range from walk and stalk to hunting from a blind with bow and arrow.
